Dawn Appears – A Real Diamond in the Rough
My Youtube account has been pushed into overdrive listening to all the new music from Buckethead’s latest album ‘A Real Diamond in the Rough’ . As I wait for my CD’s to arrive from TDRS music, youtube is my saviour. And yet again, Buckethead leaves me lost for words with his genius…
This is now one of my favourite songs – right up there with Soothsayer, Aunt Suzie, Asylum of Glass. ‘Dawn Appears’ is a beautifully haunting melody that will undoubtedly touch you – the way only Buckethead’s music can.
Simply divine.
Again Buckethead, I thank you… <3
Thanks also to sofun555 for the video clip

I played Asylum of Glass at the Franklin County Talent Contest on the 8th and got second place…thats one of my favorite songs. That same day I played at the Red Bay Talent Contest and got first playing Binge and Grab. Dawn Appears is my second favorite off of his new album. My favorite is Big D’s Touch. I plan on playing that next.
Wow, nice going! Congrats on those wins
I am sure Buckethead would be proud that someone is playing his stuff and winning competitions with his music
Dawn Appears is one of my favourites for sure, but after listening to the rest of this album, it’s making it soooo hard to decide. Every song is just wonderful…
I know what you mean!
You just can’t even imagine what songs he would compose, you’d think with all his amazing songs he’d lose it but my goodness…
Thank you Buckethead.
I guess Buckethead has an untapped source deep inside… guessing by the music he composes, his emotions run pretty deep.
When he composes some of the more melodic tunes like the ones on this album, it’s almost as if he speaks for anyone that’s ever felt pain or love or suffering or longing or loss or even just wonder and awe at the world we live in…
That’s what I feel anyway

Yeah exactly! And you can just feel it so powerfully!

The video put with was very accentuating for the song’s meaning, or so I think.
He feels more than most. Just shake his hand at a concert and you’ll see how interconnected and loving his energy is. Beautiful reviews guys keep playing that guitar and reaching for Bucketheadland.
