Buckethead live at BB Kings May 30th 2009

I have around five of Buckethead’s songs that I play pretty much every day. Soothsayer is one of them… the first time I ever heard it, words eluded me (and I am a writer by profession so to say the impact it had on me was profound is a gross understatement). And I have voted quite a few of the YouTube clips of Soothsayer as favourites of mine, especially if the recording is clear and relatively good quality.
I love this song because every time I hear Buckethead play it differently, it gets me every time, no matter what.
So, today I am posting another video clip of Soothsayer that I found yesterday. And words continue to elude me… still.
Thanks to elduro13 for the clip.

Awesome! Thanks for posting. I saw the show in Burlington VT right before this. Knocked my socks off. Bucket is the best original musician I have seen in many a moon. Perhaps the best musician of all time.
Infreakincredible.
BOW
Oh thankyou for posting as well
I live in New Zealand so it’s going to be a wee while yet before I can see Buckethead live. My dream is to see him at either Mishawaka (where I’ve seen some of the best live footage of him online) or his hometown in San Francisco
I don’t think I’ll ever be the same again after seeing Buckethead live… but I am counting down the days until I can
Thanks again for posting and visiting Buckethead Online
That is one hell of a version of the song.
Amazing.
I would love to see him live
Hi Saed
I know… Buckethead is simply divine
and this video clip just proves yet again how authentic and unique he really is…
Maybe we’ll both get to see him live one day
Until then, I am grateful to all the Buckethead fans who upload music clips like this…
hey back
Lol I know, hahah, god bless youtube
I was at this show as well and it may have been the best how i’ve seen of him. BB kings is so tiny and the time i saw him there before it was my birthday. He played a bunch of new songs but by far the best is his new opening song. Untitled but i just started calling it ‘the new night of the slunk’. I also shook bucketheads hand and gave p-sticks a hi five
I hope to see him at Mishawaka if I ever get to see him live. The online footage I’ve seen of Buckethead shows there always seem to be the best so I’d love to see him live at that venue (although I’d go anywhere I could to see him if I could)…
