Buckethead at the All Good Music festival

Trawling through the garbage blog entries about Buckethead every day is what I do to bring you, the true Bucket fans only the best in Bucket news. And I found what could easily be one of the best reviews of Buckethead’s live shows that I’ve read today. I think this primarily because the review seems to be written by someone who isn’t really a fan but who was simply curious and managed to capture an unbiased view of Buckethead that is cleverly written and entertaining to read.
Here is an excerpt from the review of Buckethead at the All Good Music festival:
Now, I’m not into metal, but I stood there truly amazed at the performance I was seeing on stage. In actuality, it wasn’t really even metal. It was just… odd. But good. As I turned to my friend Ryan, he said, “This is like a train wreck. I can’t turn away.” Next to him, my other friend, Andrew, said nothing, only allowing his jaw to drop.
If you want the full review, you can go here. Thanks to CNN for the article. I don’t currently have a video clip of Buckethead at the festival (since it was only yesterday) but when I get one, I’ll be sure to post it here or send me the link if you’ve managed to spot one, I’d appreciate it
Bucketgirl out…

I thought this was one of the cutest things I have ever read about him. GUSHING the mental portrait she paints of him. I read this yesterday and have to give you credit for posting it for others to see.
Hi there, thanks for posting. I think the article is great but pretty sure it’s written by a ‘he’ named Jarrett
Either way, it’s definitely a well written article … makes you wish you were there instead
just stumbled into here doing probably the same thing you do everyday, makes me feel a little more normal … I was there and saw bhead in west virginia (9th time seeing him). It was pretty sick and big B was literally dripping sweat out of his mask. I got 2 toys! i like how claypool and bucket creep people out at these festivals. My buddy who i went with never saw or heard him before (he’s more into blues), he was completely blown away. i have a soundboard of this show too if you haven’t found it yet.

It’s great to meet other fellow Bots
I don’t hang out at Buckethead.tk too much although it’s a great website, especially for Buckethead fans. I prefer to just concentrate on my own thing plus I feel a little detached from everyone there because I live all the way in New Zealand. Most of the people over at Buckethead.tk seem like very cool people but they feel more like a family that know each other well and it’s kinda hard to break into new communities.
But I welcome anyone that shares my love for Buckethead and I’m glad to be able to help people feel less ‘weird’ hehe
